Work in progress
The holes are drilled with an 3.42 mm drill. The same size as the pivot.
The rough shape is made with a hacksaw, the curves in the disign are not visible jet.
The final contours of the disign become visible after filling.
After filling the edge the scratches are sanded away.
The filework is done with smaller files.
After hardening and tempering the blade is around 58 Rockwel.
The frame is made of titanium, a very light, strong and rustfree metal.
The holes have to be drilled with a new sdrill because blund drill will heat the titanium causing it to harden.
The scales are made of Carbonfibre. It is made of, yes good quess, carbon fibers.
The Backspacer is also made of RWL-34 and prevents the blade from slipping through the handle.
All the parts together, know I hope they will fit.
The finished knife can be seen in another message.
